Search the Legal Journals Index to find articles on "res gestae" evidence.
The Legal Journals Index (included in Westlaw), is a useful tool for searching for articles on a legal topic.
- On the Westlaw home page, select Journals, then Journals search from the navigation bar at the top of the page.
- Try searching for "res gestae evidence" in either the free text box or article title box. Enclosing the terms in inverted commas will search for "res gestae evidence" as a phrase (rather than looking for each word separately).
- Then try typing in "res gestae" and see whether it makes a difference to the number of results.
- Then try typing res gestae (without any inverted commas) and see how this effects the number of results.
- Then try typing "res gestae" into the subject/keyword search box to locate articles which have been assigned this term. How do your results differ?
