- How to get help from the Library website and the Library team

In this session, the librarians will provide an overview of the business and marketing resources available in the Online Library. This session will be useful for students who are studying a business or marketing related programme.
- Learn about specialist databases for your industry and studies.
- Learn about referencing management tools for your projects.
- Find journals, newspapers and magazines correlating to your studies.

Introduction to Computing Resources, October 22, 2025 12:0pm UK Time
In this session, the librarians will provide an overview of the computing-related resources available in the Online Library. This session will be useful for students who are studying computing, data science, cybersecurity and information security.
- Learn how to find articles, e-books and other resources relating to your studies.
- Learn about specialist databases including O'Reilly, IEEE and British Standards.
- Q & A with your Computer and Data Science Specialist Librarian.

Searching the Online Library Effectively, October 23,2025 12:00pm UK Time
In this session, the librarians will provide guidance on how to search the Online Library effectively including:
- Searching for specific items such as readings using ‘Library Search’ and ‘Publication Search’
- Carrying out a search on a topic using ‘Library Search’
- Identifying when direct searching of databases is preferable
- Managing references using RefWorks
