The Online Library Enquiry Service is closed and will reopen on the 5th January 2026. During this period we will be unable to answer your enquiries. However, all other Online Library resources (including the library collection and support materials) will still be available 24/7.

In honour of World Literacy Day, the Online Library is sharing a few books that reflect the many different meanings of the term literacy and how it has developed in our very short modern history.
Two exciting changes will happen in the Online Library soon. From the 12th August, you will log into the Online Library using your full username rather than just the first part of it. And from the 13th August, you will start using our new search engine.
