Do I need an Athens account?
Our answer:
Almost all students do not need an Athens account. You can access the Online Library using your Portal username and password. See the How do I login? FAQ for details.
Only a small number of students and staff who don't have Portal accounts need an Athens account to access the Online Library. If you think you need an Athens account, please fill in the Athens registration form.
Please note that Athens is simply a login method. Athens accounts do not have access to more library resources than Portal accounts, and vice versa.
