I can't activate my Athens account

Our answer:

After you register for an Athens account, you will receive an email from Athens with a link to activate your Athens account. Sometimes when you try to activate your account, you will see the error message Account activation failed.

If you clicked on the activation link after 60 days of receiving the email, the link has expired. If this happens, please fill in the Register for Athens form again. The Online Library team will then activate your account for you. 

If your account was created recently but you see the Account activation failed error, please try logging into JSTOR with the password you entered. You should be logged in, but if you cannot login please fill in the Register for Athens form again and the Online Library team will activate your account for you.
