Why do I see 'Sorry, this item is not available online' in Summon?

Our answer:

After you click on a Summon search result, you may sometimes see this message. However if an item can be found in the Summon search results, we almost certainly have access to it. 

If you see this message, go to our A-Z Journals List and enter the book's title (if you are looking for a book) or the journal's title (if you are looking for an article). You will then be told which database holds what you are looking for. Click on the database link and login. If you are looking for an article, you will then need to search within the database for it.

Please also contact the Online Library team with the details of the item leading to this error message, and we will fix the Summon search result as soon as possible.
