Frequently Asked Questions

Which database do I need?

Our answer:

The Online Library provides access to many databases, and some will be more relevant to your course than others. There is a list of the databases that are relevant to your course on your programme gateway.

Some databases focus on a specific subject, and some databases contain content from many disciplines. To find out about what a database contains, click on the name of the database on your programme gateway and you will see a short description.

Summon, the search box on the Online Library homepage, searches across almost all of our databases. This means that you do not need search each database for what you want.

To find out in which database(s) you can find a journal, use the A-Z Journals List.
