Handbook of children and screens : digital media, development, and well-being from birth through adolescence by D Christakis & L Hale

A topic most linked to mental health in the press today.  Rather than offering judgement or focusing only on the negative impacts of screen usage, this Handbook is meant to be used as an actual user's handbook.  This easy read shares data on the challenges of modern screen usage and it's affects on the under 18 community.  What makes this a different sort of book on children and the virtual world, is that the authors suggest beneficial ways screens can be used to make a positive impact on society as well as self development and personal growth, when used under the right guidance.
