All ‘essential’ course readings that the Online Library team has been able to obtain in digital format are available in the Online Library or on the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
If the item is available on the VLE, there will be a link on the relevant reading list.
Otherwise, you can access the reading in the Online Library by following the steps below.
Search for the item using the 'Summon' search engine
The fastest way is usually to copy and paste the article title into the 'Summon' search box on the Online Library home page. For tips on searching Summon, please see our Summon support page. When you find the correct item, there will be a 'Full Text Online' link.
Click the 'Full Text Online' link
You'll then be taken to the database that contains the reading.
Most of the 'essential' course readings for EMFSS are contained in the following databases: ABI/INFORM Global, Business Source Premier, VLeBooks and JStor. A Quick Guide to logging in to these databases is shown below.
For more detailed instructions - and for instructions on logging in to access readings stored in other databases - please see the Login Guides page or the How do I login? FAQ.
If you are unable to find a reading in the Online Library, please contact us with your Student Registration Number and the details of the item(s) you are looking for.
